Sable Murry is our newest addition to Town East Animal Hospital. She is a native to the Dallas area, and has had a passion for veterinary medicine since she was a young child. It started with her "doctoring" her first Labrador, Blackie, at the age of three, and progressed to bringing home various animals to take care of. By the time she was in high school, she joined the local FFA chapter and would regularly take care of livestock projects. FFA also taught her the meaning of hard work and perseverance, and what it takes to care for another being. During her FFA career, she became vice president and performed in numerous leadership competitions.
Dr. Murry’s veterinary interests include avian and exotic medicine, emergency & critical care, canine & feline internal medicine, and surgery. She also takes great pride in her work with geriatric patients, getting a great deal of fulfillment out of extending their lives. She really loves being able to help patients who cannot help themselves, and appreciates the fact that she can relieve their discomfort and help them live better lives. It is also very important to Dr. Murry to be able to work with animals of all kinds and their owners simultaneously to create a better environment for both.

Hello, my name is Evelyn Hoover. I am one of the receptionists that greet you when you enter Town East Animal Hospital. I have worked for Dr. Airhart for 24 years. I enjoy my job and he is a great boss. In my spare time I enjoy showing my AKC Miniature Schnauzers and have finished numerous ones to their championship. I am currently working on attaining the championship for my newest girl Garlyns Greek Goddess. I also groom Miniature Schnauzers and did Schnauzer rescue for awhile. However, time and age has a way of catching up with me so I have reduced my rescue duties. Next time you come to Town East Animal Hospital be sure to say "Hi".
Hi, it's my pleasure to introduce myself, I'm Jackie Ells, Receptionist and Veterinary Tech for Town East Animal Hospital. I was born and raised in Central Florida and moved to Texas in 2008. It has been my privilege to work for Dr. Jim Airhart, D.V.M. and Town East Animal Hospital since May of 2009.
In the mid 80's I was a Medical Assistant for a Health Maintenance Organization in Daytona Beach, Florida and then for the past 25 years I was an Office Manager, Executive Assistant and Marketing/Sales Coordinator for a 23 acre Continuing Care Retirement Community, which was established in 1954, and located in DeLand, Florida, which is my hometown. Our campus contained 54 Independent Apartments and more than 60 Private Homes, an Assisted Living Facility and a 130 bed Skilled Nursing Center.
On a personal note, I am a proud mom to Toby, a Terrier Mix, and Everest, a Chocolate Lab and in my spare time enjoy photography. For many years before moving to Texas I traveled a couple times a year touring the mountains and back roads of North Carolina with my camera. Kendall McDonald, Certified Veterinary Assistant - Level 3
Hello! My name is Kendall McDonald. I have always loved animals and dreamed of working with them one day. By the end of high school I was stressing over what I would do with my future. I wanted to do something that was fun and that I enjoyed so I would never think of it as work. Finally, one day I made my decision to become a veterinarian, something I would love doing forever and be able to help and care for the things I love the most.
Carlos Lopez, Certified Veternary Assistant- Level 2
I started working for Town East Animal Hospital in August of 2012. During this time, I learned there is always something to be grateful for. As long as you love your pets, they will always love you back.
I moved from Gainesville, Virginia right after graduating high school. I started working part time in a restaurant, but have always had an interest in animals. My main hobby is aquariums. I have a 120 gallon aquarium at home with 30 beautiful fish. I also have two awesome Boxer’s that I adopted when they were babies, two Cockatiel’s, two Ferret’s and two Australian Parakeet’s.
I am bilingual and able to help the Spanish speaking clients. It has been a great experience working for Dr. Airhart. This is one of the BEST jobs I have ever had!
Hi, my name is Deidre Johnson. I would like to tell you a little about myself! I grew up in Kaufman, Tx, where I graduated from Gary Campbell High school in 2011. I married my best friend Zachary Johnson in 2013, we moved to mesquite shortly after. We have one pet, a Shih Tzu named Little man, who thinks he runs the house! Growing up, my family always had animals, cows, horses, donkeys and chickens. I knew early that I wanted to work with animals when I got older. After high school, I looked and looked for a opportunity to train with someone who was willing to teach me what they know. While working at Ford, a co-worker told me about Dr. Airhart, so I went to the clinic and spoke with Jetta Airhart, and she gave me the opportunity to volunteer whenever I could. I was at the clinic almost every day, during my lunch, after work and also on Saturdays. I loved it, I knew this was where I needed to be! I became a official member of the Town East Animal Hospital family in January 2014! I love being here with all the wonderful people, and I wouldn't change it for the world! -" you never work a day in your life, when you love your job"
Hi there! My name is Perlita Reyes. Since I can remember I have always wanted to work with animals whether they are small or large. My love for animals and love for science made it easy for me to choose my degree path. After 5 years of studies I graduated from Sam Houston State University in May 2013 with a Bachelors in Animal Science and minor in Biology. Upon graduating there was never a doubt in my mind that the veterinary field is where I wanted to be.
A little about me: On my downtime I love to workout, watch/go to Rodeos, or help my dad with our animals. We have two Quarter horses, a dark bay 16 year old mare named Lola and a 3 year old sorrel stallion named Navajo. Lola is usually the calm docile one while Navajo is the curious energetic little boy. It evens out because he brings out Lola’s playful rowdy side which makes it fun for me to work with them. We also have a handful of goats and chickens who are kept guarded by our beautiful white German Shepherd Goldie.
I cannot describe how excited and blessed I am to be a part of the Town East Animal Hospital family! I look forward to meeting you and your pets!!
